BSS / CBS Support Engineer

Cairo, Egypt | 1 Year Contract | Start Date : April 2026 

A global telecom technology powerhouse is expanding its Egypt team and looking for a BSS / CBS Support Engineer to support mission-critical charging and Mobile Money platforms used by millions of subscribers.

If you have hands-on experience in CBS, BES, Charging Systems, or Mobile Financial Services, and enjoy troubleshooting complex production environments — this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• L2/L3 support for CBS, BES & Mobile Money platforms
• System configuration (UPC, Number Analysis, Invoice, DC, UVC modules)
• Log analysis & fault troubleshooting
• Incident & Change Management (ITIL-based operations)
• Database queries & validation (SQL / Oracle)
• Linux troubleshooting & shell scripting
• Night change & upgrade activities
• Supporting UAT & test execution
• Direct communication with telecom operator customers

 What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years experience in Telecom BSS / Charging / Mobile Money
• Strong Linux & SQL knowledge
• Hands-on exposure to billing / prepaid systems
• ITIL familiarity (certification is a plus)
• Strong English communication skills
• Flexible for night operations
