About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Night Shift Project QHSE Engineer to support the offshore operations team in US for an OWF project. In this role, you will help ensure a healthy and safe work environment through the effective implementation of QHSE practices. You will be part of a site-based team responsible for overseeing all aspects of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance and promoting sound work practices and a healthy lifestyle among project personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Duties:
- Provide guidance on medical matters and support in the event of incidents or accidents
- Conduct medical assessments and interventions as needed
- Offer QHSE-related advice to both the project team and vessel crew
- Identify, report, and follow up on unsafe conditions and practices
- Carry out onboard QHSE inspections in collaboration with operational staff and client representatives
- Lead investigations of project and vessel-related incidents, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up
- Participate in daily coordination meetings with stakeholders, including vessel leadership and client representatives
- Conduct toolbox talks and support the roll-out of safety campaigns on board
- Perform Job Safety Environmental Analyses (JSEA) with relevant teams for non-routine activities
- Collect and report daily QHSE statistics through designated reporting tools
- Collaborate closely with the onshore QHSE team to ensure alignment and effective communication
Secondary Duties:
- Support and execute health and safety campaigns as guided by the back-office QHSE team
- Assist with additional QHSE-related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent QHSE certification
- Valid medic qualification
- Demonstrated experience with QHSE processes related to mobilization/demobilization of offshore operations
- Must be a U.S. national or hold a valid U.S. work visa (L1B or B1 OCS Wind)
