Job Title: Sales Director – Middle East (MRO Industrial Products)
Location: Dubai/Saudi Arabia (Negotiable)
Position Overview
As the first key member of our Middle East team, you will be responsible for building direct sales and distribution networks from scratch, driving regional strategy execution, and spearheading market penetration of MRO industrial products (fasteners, tools, low-voltage electrical components, etc.) in core manufacturing sectors such as oil & gas, aerospace, and construction. This role demands a rare blend of strategic vision and operational excellence, fueled by an entrepreneurial mindset to lay the foundation for future regional expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Development & Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute market entry strategies (customer segmentation/pricing models/channel strategies) to achieve Year 1 sales targets and 3-year growth roadmaps.
- Establish a direct sales framework targeting key accounts (e.g., Saudi Aramco, UAE aerospace firms, NEOM megaproject contractors).
2. Channel Network Construction
- Build and manage a sustainable distribution ecosystem, including local distributors, MRO service providers, and e-commerce platforms.
- Design channel incentive programs and optimize inventory coordination/profit-sharing mechanisms.
3. Resource Integration & Team Building
- Lead local supply chain partnerships (warehousing/logistics) to improve delivery efficiency by 30%+.
- Future responsibility: Recruit and train sales teams, implementing standardized sales processes and CRM systems.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with HQ product and supply chain teams to tailor solutions for Middle Eastern markets (e.g., heat-resistant product bundles).
- Deliver market insights to drive product optimization and supply chain agility.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, International Trade, or related fields.
Experience
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience, with 5+ years focused on the Middle East market and proven success in multi-million-dollar projects.
- Direct sales expertise in manufacturing industries (oil & gas/aerospace/construction required).
- Prior experience in 0-to-1 distribution network building; familiarity with Middle East MRO/industrial channels is a plus.
