First Point Group is recruiting for a Sales Director with wireless telecom experience (4G / 5G / Private Wireless / DAS) on behalf of a global telecoms solutions company. As a fluent French speaker, you will be responsible for business development activities within your assigned territory in the area of 4G / 5G / RAN / Wireless / Private Networks / Small Cells.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Own the full sales lifecycle for a defined territory, key account group, or customer segment in the European market.

  • Report to the Sales Director with responsibility for achieving annual OTE targets.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market and customer acquisition strategies focused on telecom operators and system integrators.

  • Manage and grow strategic relationships with key accounts and partners via CRM platforms.

  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline; regularly update forecasts and identify new business opportunities.

  • Provide insights into top operators and strategic accounts; plan and implement effective sales tactics to meet revenue and efficiency goals.



 



Required Qualifications & Experience:




  • Minimum of 5 years' sales experience in the wireless telecom industry (e.g., 4G/5G, DAS, private networks, RAN, or small cells).

  • Experience with RAN/DAS vendors or local system integrators is highly desirable.

  • Proven experience in both direct sales (to operators or named enterprise accounts) and channel sales.

  • Demonstrated success in breaking into new accounts and navigating vendor validation processes with Tier 1 telecom operators.

  • Strong ability to build, nurture, and convert sales leads into long-term client relationships.

  • High level of accountability, resilience under pressure, and adaptability to multicultural and international team environments.

  • Fluent in French and English

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Previous experience working in an international or matrixed organisation is an advantage.
