Systems Sales Engineer - Data Centre

The Opportunity

Our client is a global leader in network infrastructure, delivering innovative connectivity solutions across telecom and enterprise markets. Their Data Centre infrastructure team is expanding and seeking a talented Sales Systems Engineer to join the EMEA team based in Paris.

This is a hands-on, technically driven role sitting at the intersection of sales and engineering. You will be the go-to technical authority supporting the sales team, partners, and end-user customers across the data centre portfolio.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing pre-sales technical support including product guidance, project design, installation advice, and troubleshooting
• Creating and delivering tailored solution presentations for end-user customers and consultants, showcasing the latest data centre systems technologies
• Acting as the technical liaison between global-scale customers and internal manufacturing and engineering teams
• Delivering training to installation partners and end-users on products and best practices
• Supporting sales and marketing through technical documentation, design guides, and media activities
• Maintaining and improving product literature, identifying inconsistencies and ensuring accuracy

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of relevant experience with structured cabling, design, and installation in mid to large data centres
• Working knowledge of data centre functional areas (MDA, HDA, EDA, ZDA, EF) and familiarity with industry trends
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel up to 30%, including internationally
• BICSI RCDD, BICSI DCDC or other data centre design certifications (preferred)
• Familiarity with local structured cabling standards (e.g. ANSI/TIA 568, ISO 11801, ANSI/TIA-942-A)
• Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent experience
