Technical Project Manager – Renewable Energy (Wind, Solar & Storage)

A leading international renewable energy developer is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee the technical delivery of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects. With an extensive portfolio of operational and in-development projects across Europe, this organisation is playing a pivotal role in the global transition to sustainable energy.
Role Overview:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the technical workstreams of renewable energy projects from early development through to construction and operation. You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage design development, and ensure technical integrity across all phases. This role also involves supporting procurement, managing risk, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead internal and external engineering teams across wind, solar, and storage projects.
- Oversee and optimise technical design, ensuring compliance with both regulatory requirements and market standards.
- Support commercial packaging of projects including feasibility assessments, energy yield analysis, and CAPEX/OPEX estimations.
- Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies from concept to construction.
- Manage supplier and contractor relationships, leading technical negotiations as required.
- Ensure all technical deliverables are aligned with project and business goals, engaging regularly with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Strong experience in technical project management, particularly within onshore wind; exposure to solar and storage is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of wind turbine technologies, grid connection requirements, and associated infrastructure.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Romanian is essential.
